Alfredo Lozano - Founding Attorney

Immigration Isn’t Just What He Does—It’s Who He Is

Alfredo Lozano is a first-generation American, raised in San Antonio by immigrant parents from Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico. From an early age, he experienced the realities of the immigration journey—the sacrifices, the uncertainty, and the unshakable hope that drives families to build a new life in the United States. These experiences shaped his values and fueled his decision to build a law practice grounded in empathy and clarity.

Alfredo’s personal connection to immigration deepened when he helped his wife immigrate from Mexico. Today, they raise their children with a shared appreciation for cultural roots and the strength found in diversity. These lived experiences inform every case he handles, giving him a clear understanding of the human impact behind the paperwork.

A Veteran Who Continues To Serve

Before practicing law, Alfredo served four years in the United States Marine Corps. That chapter of his life reinforced his discipline, sense of duty, and values he carries into his legal practice today. As a veteran, he understands military families’ unique challenges, especially when a service member seeks to bring a foreign-born spouse to the U.S.

His firsthand perspective—both as a Marine and a participant in the immigration process—makes him exceptionally equipped to help veterans navigate procedures such as Parole in Place, consular processing, and family-based petitions. His guidance is marked by clarity, compassion, and practical insight.

A Career Built On Purpose

After completing his military service, Alfredo earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University in Houston. He also studied law at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, strengthening his legal Spanish and expanding his cross-border legal understanding.

His legal training included work in Houston, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, and at the Mexican Consulate in Houston. He later practiced deportation defense in San Antonio before founding Lozano Law Firm—a practice focused exclusively on immigration law, created to offer clients a more personal and clear path through the immigration system.

Flying Forward—In & Out Of The Courtroom

Alfredo is also a certified private pilot and an active member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Currently pursuing his IFR certification, he sees aviation as a natural extension of the values driving his legal practice: preparation, freedom, and progress.

Credentials & Affiliations

Alfredo is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the San Antonio Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization—an achievement that reflects his continued commitment to legal clarity and professional integrity.
